  1.                            WINDOW COMMANDS
  2.  
  3. NYWord  allows you to have two horizontal windows on the screen at the
  4. same time. Each window can have a separate file, or the same file.
  5.  
  6. Since the 10 "pick" buffers are common to both windows,  you  can  cut
  7. and  paste  text  between  windows.  You  can copy or pick text into a
  8. buffer,move to the other window, then use the <PUT> command to  trans-
  9. fer the text from the pick buffer into the window. 
  10.  
  11. <SPLIT  WINDOW>  opens  up  another  window  at the bottom half on the
  12. screen. You are prompted for the name of the file to be in the  bottom
  13. window.  Type  the  file  name, or press <RETURN> if you want the same
  14. file in the bottom window.

  16. <GOTO  WINDOW>  moves the cursor to its previous position in the other
  17. window. 
  18.  
  19. <CLOSE  WINDOW>  closes the current window and makes file in the other
  20. window the current file. You are prompted to  save  the  file  in  the
  21. closed window.
  22.  
  23. <CHANGE WINDOW> closes the file in the current window, and prompts you 
  24. for  a  new  file  to  be edited in that window. This is equivalent to
  25. closing a window, and splitting it again.
  26.  
  27. <CHANGE WINDOW SIZE> allows you to change  the  size  of  the  current
  28. window.  You  can  have  the  window take anywhere from 3 lines to the
  29. whole screen. If you have two full-screen windows, then you can toggle
  30. between them with the <GOTO WINDOW> command.
